Counseling and Therapy Services

Therapists of SSFHC engage in interdisciplinary, collaborative relationships to assist individuals, couples, and families. What this means is that more than one therapist may be involved with you in developing workable alternatives for life transition difficulties. The first meeting, at least, is liable to include more than one therapist.

Our interests revolve around basic relationships: Parent and Child, Husband and Wife, Siblings, Couples, Work, and Illness.

We serve families of all racial and ethnic backgrounds, all aspects of disability, and all sexual orientations.

We believe in the capacity of families and individuals to grow and change.

Our approach is from the point of view of resilience and uncovering strengths, which can help to manage persistent difficulties, and resolve transitional crises.

SSFHC includes family therapists, licensed clinical social workers, licensed mental health counselors, and rehabilitation therapists.

Most insurances are accepted. Self-pay is always an option as well; please refer to fees page

Our Clinical Coordinator, Suzanne Briggette, LMFT, LMHC, can schedule an appointment and address any concerns. For more information, or to make an appointment, please call 617-745-4100.
